A major appliance which is used daily should never be an impulse buy because impulse purchasing habits usually leads to deep regrets later. When it comes to landing bargains on major appliances, timing plays a vital role. Timing is everything when it comes to purchasing a quality appliance at a reasonable rate. The best time to purchase home appliances are when the stores need you more than you need a new appliance. Generally, that means you get value for money- September, October, January- when the manufacturers roll out new home appliance models and retailers are eager to move their last year’s inventory out. Refrigerators are an exception- new models come out in the spring. Last days of the month- when stores are desperate to meet the sales target and are more likely to dicker over prices.
